Talk about McCain

By edchilders

This morning I was watching Bob Shieffer interview Karl Rove about Senator John McCain; I naturally wanted to know more about John, since he’s running to be President of my United States of America.

As it turned out, Karl’s answers were all about Barack Obama instead, and how Barack has nothing to offer. Shieffer didn’t seem to mind.

So I guess my time was wasted. All I know about John is that he crashed in Vietnam, was a POW who conducted himself admirably, got elected to the Senate, is married to a woman who inherited something over a hundred million dollars. And that he spent the last 4 years in lockstep with Bush and the conservative Republicans so he calls himself a maverick and a change agent. And doesn’t know anything about the Middle East or economics.

Karl could have taught me so much more.

How can you talk about the Senator’s service that way? Crashing a jet and being a distinguished POW is all the qualification for the job of President that anyone should ask for. Barack never crashed a jet. He has no experience. He’s not qualified.

The Senator knows plenty about the Middle East. He’s been there plenty of times and he’s spent plenty of time in the Green Zone.

And leave it to a stinking Liberal Lefty to bring the family into it.

And just for your information, time spent listening to Mr. Rove is never wasted. I could listen to him for hours.

sockpuppetR, I apologize for bringing Cindy into the discussion. Just because she’s always by your side (where’s Joe Lieberman been lately?) and just because you suggested she compete for Miss Buffalo Chip (I wish she had; she’d have shown those young chippies -and the bikers- a thing or two) (Joe would have been great, too!) and just because you want me to believe Obama’s a country club elitist and somehow you’re not even though Cindy can run up a one-month credit card bill of seven hundred fifty thousand dollars; none of those things have anything to do with you. Again, sockpuppetR, I apologize.

it’s moot, but i’m compelled to add here that mccain crashed more than one jet…he crashed 5 of them…and 3 were due to his own incompetence/careless disregard.

i am relieved that america chose obama
